Driver — We Supply the Truck

Got a CDL but no truck? Drive ours as a W-2 employee driver. We supply the truck, you supply the hours behind the wheel. Paid per mile, every Friday.

Do I need my own MC and DOT authority?+

No. You operate under Khatlon's active MC and DOT authority. All you need is a CDL, your own truck (or ours), and a clean record.

What exactly does the 12% cover?+

Dispatch (Amazon Relay and broker freight), our MC and DOT, full DOT safety, Driver Qualification Files, drug & alcohol program, and weekly settlements. 12% is fixed — no add-ons.

Why are cargo, ELD, and IFTA passed through separately?+

Because we want you to see exactly what you're paying. Cargo insurance must be on our MC, so we pass it at our actual cost. Same with ELD (~$50/wk) and IFTA (~$40–50/wk). Other carriers hide this in a higher percentage (18–25%) and quietly profit. We don't.

How does the W-2 driver program work?+

We supply the truck and freight. You drive as a W-2 employee — Khatlon handles payroll taxes and provides occupational accident insurance. Paid per mile every Friday.

Can cargo insurance get cheaper?+

Yes. The rate depends on the carrier's age, claims history, driver MVR and CSA scores. As Khatlon and its drivers build a clean record, the rate drops. Since we pass it at cost, those savings come straight to you.

Is there escrow or any upfront cost?+

No. No escrow, no start-up fees, no held wages. You shouldn't have to pay a carrier to work for them.

What's the contract length?+

30-day notice from either side. Stay because the freight, money, and support work for you — not because you're locked in a contract.

Can I run with a team?+

Yes — and teams are especially profitable with us. A team grosses around $15,000+ per week. For owner-operators the 12% commission and fixed pass-throughs don't change. For W-2 drivers, team CPM is $0.06 higher than solo.
